What Is a Pow Wow?

Drumming & Dance Competitions
The Saulteaux Pow Wow is home to one of the largest drumming contests in Saskatchewan, with over $63,000 in total prizes, including $20,000 for first place.
Dance competitions will be held in all categories:
- Tiny Tots (6 & under) – Paid Daily
- Junior Boys & Girls (7–12) – $250 to $50 prizes
- Teen Boys & Girls (13–17) – $500 to $100 prizes
- Junior Adults (18–39) – $1,000 to $200 prizes
- Senior Adults (40–59) – $1,000 to $200 prizes
- Golden Age (60+) – $1,000 to $200 prizes
✨ Plus, Category Specials of $5,000 each for Men’s and Women’s dance styles ensure unforgettable performances.
